Dawn of a Maker is a motivational short built for Kute Blackson's launch into his growth summit. In this short advertisement we follow a girl who is finding her inspiration, entering into a space that reminds her of a time when she was a kid. Within this moment she remembers her calling and becomes the woman she always wanted to be.

Challenges & Approach

Kute approached us with a powerful vision: to ignite inspiration in his audience, reminding them of their inherent greatness. His desire was to craft a narrative that delved into the journey of a creator reconnecting with her muse and rediscovering her voice. We embarked on a two-day shoot at two distinct locations, facing the challenge of capturing the full spectrum of creative evolution within these constraints.

Utilizing innovative techniques in lighting, color grading, and set design, we seamlessly transitioned through the various stages of creation. From the raw, organic moments of inspiration to the enchanting recollections of childhood imagery that sparked the initial inspiration, we meticulously crafted each scene to evoke a sense of authenticity and nostalgia. The culmination of the project was a poignant portrayal of the artist standing center stage, bathed in the glow of the spotlight.

To further enhance the authenticity of the narrative, we integrated elements of the actual creative process into the music composition. Drawing inspiration from the talent's spontaneous melodies played during filming, we infused the project with an added layer of depth and truth, encapsulating the essence of genuine artistic expression.
